Hi there!

I’m Karl Coley, a solo game developer based in New Zealand, creating games under the name Alley Rock Games. I believe games should be simple, fun, and work reliably without needing an internet connection.

This Privacy Policy explains what (if any) information is collected when you visit my website or play my games.

My Approach to Privacy

I design my games to be offline experiences. That means:

• No accounts

• No online features

• No tracking systems

• No data collection for marketing or analytics

In short: I don’t want your data — I just want you to enjoy the game.

When you visit my website:

• I do not use analytics tools

• I do not use cookies for tracking

• I do not collect personal information automatically

If you choose to email me at alleyrock@icloud.com, I will receive:

• Your email address

• Any information you include in your message

I will only use this information to respond to you. I do not store or share it for any other purpose.

My Games

Local Save Data

My games may store data locally on your device, such as:

• Game progress

• Settings

• Achievements (stored locally)

This data:

• Stays on your device

• Is not transmitted to me

• Is never shared with third parties

If you delete the game, this data may also be deleted.

Apple Game Center

Some of my games may include optional features from Apple Game Center, such as achievements.

If you use these features:

• Data is handled by Apple, not me.

• I do not have access to your Game Center account or data.

Game Engine (Unity)

My games are built using Unity Technologies.

I do not enable Unity Analytics, Ads, or Cloud Diagnostics in my games.

However, Unity may include underlying system-level functionality as part of the engine. This is not something I actively use or control.

Children’s Privacy

My games are designed for a general audience and are suitable for younger players.

I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Data Sharing

I do not:

• Sell your data

• Share your data

• Collect your data for advertising

Because I don’t collect personal data in the first place, there is nothing to share.

Your Rights

As a user, you have rights under privacy laws (such as those in New Zealand and internationally).

Since I do not collect personal data, these rights generally won’t need to be exercised — but if you have any concerns, you’re always welcome to contact me.
